Quick answer: Pipiads is a TikTok-first ad research tool for e-commerce and dropshipping that also covers Facebook. The free trial gives 500 credits and zero detail views, and every paid tier ($49–$900/month) meters detail views by credits. There's an Advertisers section, but no owner profile linking domains, pixel IDs and Page IDs.

What is Pipiads

Pipiads is a search tool for TikTok and Facebook advertising. It's built around e‑commerce and dropshipping product research, and general brand monitoring isn't the job it's shaped for.

When I logged in, the main Ecom Ads screen had two platform toggles, TikTok and Facebook, with TikTok first. The top navigation splits the base into six vertical tabs: E-commerce, TikTok Shop, Apps, Gaming, Drama and AI. There's a TikTok Shop tab, but no Facebook Shop tab next to it.

The TikTok focus is built into the product itself. TikTok is the default tab, and Facebook is the one you switch to.

The left-hand menu has three parts. Ad search covers Ecom Ads, Ad Library and Ad Tracker. A products section helps you spot winning products. A stores section (Ad Store, Advertisers, Top Store) lets you browse top-performing shops and the advertisers behind them.

If your question is "what creative and products are moving on TikTok and Facebook e-commerce right now?", this layout gets you there fast. Coverage stops when the question gets bigger. You might need the owner behind an advertiser, with its domains, pixel IDs and Page IDs tied together. Or you might want one business-category system across the whole base, where Pipiads has vertical tabs. For the wider workflow this research fits into, see how to spy on competitor ads end-to-end.

How I tested

I used a Pipiads account on the free level. I ran a handful of searches, switched between TikTok and Facebook, opened one ad and opened the pricing panel. Later I checked the pricing page on pipiads.com and Pipiads' Trustpilot page. On the Spytrend side, I filtered Ads by the Ecommerce and Retail category, then looked up a single operator in Webmasters.

What this test doesn't show: the free level allows zero detail views, so I couldn't see what a paid user gets inside an ad. I didn't buy a paid tier. Pipiads' prices also run on a flash-sale countdown, so the figures here are from one day.

The Pipiads free trial: what 500 credits cover

The pipiads free trial has no time limit. It's a credit allowance: 500 credits, 0 detail views and 1 user, per the pricing panel inside the account. After logging in, a new account lands on the Free level with that 500-credit pool. The sidebar shows the Free level, a credit bar out of 500 and an Upgrade button under it.

The credit counter in the top bar moves as you browse, so opening an ad isn't the only thing that spends credits. Over a handful of searches and platform switches, mine dropped from 380 to 320 to 300, out of the same 500. The detail view is where the trial stops. When I opened an individual ad, the advertiser's name, click-through link, final link and the TikTok post itself sat behind an "Upgrade to view" lock. That matches the trial's stated 0 detail views.

So what can a free account actually do? It gives you a good look at the search grid: thumbnails, impressions, days running and like counts. Each card also shows a few unlocked numbers: an ad-cost range, an estimated-orders range and a like rate. I'd expected those ranges to be locked too, and they turned out to be the most useful thing the trial gives you. It isn't a full test of the research workflow, because that workflow runs through the detail pages the trial doesn't unlock.

If you were hoping for a free plan, this credit-metered trial is it. There's no separate no-cost tier and no free account that skips the credit limit.

Pipiads.com: what the interface and filters actually show

Pipiads.com opens on this same Ecom Ads screen. Here's every control I saw in its Ecom Ads filter bar. I didn't add anything from marketing copy:

  • Keyword search box (ad text, product name, store name)
  • Platform toggle: All / TikTok / Facebook
  • Ad-type checkboxes: Dropshipping / E-commerce / TikTok Spark Ads
  • Category pickers for the ecom platform and product category
  • Date-range shortcuts: all time, yesterday, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months, last years, creation date, last seen, ad run time, first seen
  • "Base" filters: country/region, language, CTA button, landing-page link, format/duration/resolution, audience
  • "Data" filters: impressions, engagement, ad spend, conversion estimate
  • New Ads / First-time Ads / Repeated Ads toggles
  • Real People Ads checkbox
  • AI-creative filter: All / AI-generated / No AI

Pipiads sorts results by last-seen date. It also has a Winning Products view, an option to exclude ads you've already viewed and a way to save a filter set for reuse. That's the full set visible in this account. There's no separate filter for sound usage or hashtag performance in the bar. The AI-creative switch stood out: it hides AI-generated ads in one click. The left-hand menu adds one more entry point outside the bar: Find Similar by Image.

Every result card shows the same base numbers on any tier: impressions, days running and likes, plus the store name and country flags. Opening a card costs 20 credits on paid tiers, and on the trial it's locked at 0 detail views. On the free level, the TikTok tab also carries a banner about coverage: its historical window stops 90 days back.

What does that mean in practice? On the free level you can judge a TikTok ad by its card, and only if it ran in the last 90 days.

Pipiads pricing: what it costs past the free label

Pipiads runs on credits layered under a per-seat subscription. The pricing panel inside the account shows three fixed tiers plus a flexible option. All of them run on the same flash-sale countdown timer against a higher list price:

Tier List price Flash-sale price Credits Users Ad Tracker
Basic $69/mo $49/mo 30,000 1 2
Advanced (marked "most popular") $159/mo $99/mo 100,000 1 10
Enterprise $1,999/mo $900/mo 1,000,000 10 100
Flexible — from $180/mo slider, from 200K slider, from 2 20

The same panel offers annual billing at 30% off through a Monthly/Annually toggle. Its header reads "No contracts, cancel any time." The countdown runs against a list price, so re-check the figures on the day you sign up. Flash-sale prices move.

The shape of the deal is the same on every tier. More money buys more credits, more users and a bigger Ad Tracker allowance, and the feature set stays the same. Basic's own feature list spells out the unit costs: 1 credit per data item and 20 credits per detail view. So the cost that stops the free trial at 0 detail views keeps applying on every paid tier, in smaller proportion.

In practice, the tier you need depends on how many ads you plan to open.

Where a broader competitive-intelligence tool picks up

Pipiads is built for "what's moving on TikTok and Facebook e-commerce?" Spytrend is set up for a different kind of research. Spytrend is an ad intelligence platform for Facebook and TikTok advertising: an archive of ads going back to 2018, AI-classified into 33 business categories, with every advertiser assembled into a single card — all ads, pages, domains and countries in one place.

In practice that means looking at who advertises in a niche on both platforms, which ads have run long enough to study, and what the advertiser's whole network looks like. More on that approach is in Spytrend’s guide to competitive ad intelligence.

Category taxonomy. Pipiads splits its base into six vertical tabs: E-commerce, TikTok Shop, Apps, Gaming, Drama and AI. Inside E-commerce, the ad-type filters are Dropshipping, E-commerce and TikTok Spark Ads. Spytrend uses one AI-assigned system of 33 business categories, with 342 subcategories inside them, for its Facebook and TikTok ads. That's one category system for the whole base, which helps when your question is bigger than one vertical tab. I filtered Spytrend's Ads by Ecommerce and Retail: Meta returned 78,917,947 results and TikTok returned 17,791,495.

One profile instead of an ad list. This is the structural difference. Pipiads groups ads by advertiser page, and its Advertisers section shows one advertiser's ads. Spytrend has already grouped every ad, page, domain and landing page of one operator into a webmaster profile by the time you search. Shared pixel IDs, domains and Page IDs are what link them, and the profile adds a country breakdown.

I opened one owner in Webmasters under the Ecommerce and Retail filter. The network behind Achadinhosdataami.Lovable ties together 50 domains (15 active) and 532 Facebook Page IDs (107 active) under one owner. That network has 8,108,497 ads collected in total: 146,874 still active and 7,961,623 stopped.

The US, the UK, Australia, Mexico and France lead its countries. One domain inside the network, omg10.com, carries 488 of the owner's ads on its own.

On an advertiser page you're looking at one storefront. In the profile you see the whole owner behind it, a network of domains and pages. See how this view works in the Webmasters walkthrough.

Ad-spend estimates in both tools are exactly that: estimates. Spytrend gives its own as a range, "from and to," and never as one exact figure.

The pricing unit differs too. Pipiads meters detail views by credits on every tier. Spytrend's paid plan is a monthly subscription priced by category: it includes one AI category, and each extra one is paid separately. There's also a free Starter tier, so you can try the interface without paying. To be fair about it, Starter only shows the archive: ads more than three months old, with no real-time data. See what's included on each plan on the Spytrend pricing page. For comparison, Pipiads' own tiers and flash-sale terms are on its pricing page.

Who Pipiads is for, and who it isn't

Pipiads makes sense when your research is TikTok and Facebook e-commerce or dropshipping creative and products, you're comfortable working inside a credit budget, and a single-seat plan covers your team.

It gets in the way when:

  • you need one business-category system across the whole base, where Pipiads has six vertical tabs;
  • you want to open ad detail pages without watching a credit counter;
  • you need the full picture of who's behind an advertiser, meaning all of their pages, domains and countries, and one advertiser page at a time isn't enough.

For me, the last one decides it. Ad search on TikTok and Facebook tells you what creative is running and from which advertiser page. A competitive-intelligence platform tells you who's behind it and what their whole network looks like.

Pipiads alternatives

Which alternative makes sense depends on what you're actually trying to research. If you're hunting products on TikTok and Facebook for a store, Pipiads itself is a reasonable pick, credit model included. Most dropshipping research on Pipiads looks exactly like that, and it's what the tool was built for. See how it stacks up against other options in this ad-spy tool comparison. If you need the advertiser's whole network, one category system across the base and pricing by category, Spytrend is built more around that workflow. The comparison table sets the two side by side.

You can check all of this yourself. The Pipiads trial is listed as free, and Spytrend's Starter is free. Run a product keyword from your own niche in both and compare what each one shows you past the search grid.

FAQ

What is Pipiads?

It's a search tool for TikTok and Facebook advertising, built around e-commerce and dropshipping product research. You search by keyword, filter by platform, category and date range, and open individual ads for their performance numbers. Inside the account, the Pipiads TikTok tab sits first and Facebook is the second toggle.

Is Pipiads free?

Yes, in the sense that you can log in and get a 500-credit trial, listed as Free on the pricing page. The trial itself allows 0 detail views, so ad and advertiser detail pages stay locked until you upgrade. The credit counter also moves as you browse. Mine went from 380 to 300 across a handful of searches.

How much is Pipiads?

Flash-sale pricing showed Basic at $49/month (list $69), Advanced at $99/month (list $159) and Enterprise at $900/month (list $1,999). There's also a Flexible tier from $180/month with 2 users and 200K credits. These are countdown-timer rates, so check the current numbers before you sign up.

Is Pipiads legit?

Yes. A live account returned ads dated up to the day I checked, and the pricing panel lists four tiers. On Trustpilot it holds 2.1 from 18 reviews. There are two caveats. The e-commerce ad-type filters sit inside vertical tabs, and detail views cost credits: 20 each on paid tiers, with 0 allowed on the trial.

How do I use Pipiads?

Log in, type a product or keyword, then narrow it down by platform, category, country and date range. The cards give you the basics. Opening an ad is where credits go fastest, since the detail view holds the advertiser name, links and script analysis. On the free level you'll mostly be working from the grid.

How is Pipiads different from an owner-level research tool?

Pipiads searches TikTok and Facebook e-commerce ads and groups them by advertiser page. A platform like Spytrend goes one level up. It assembles the full network behind an owner, with domains, pages and countries tied together in advance. Its paid plan is priced by category, and a free Starter lets you try it first.
