Short answer: Creatives holds Facebook ad creatives themselves, or rather their unique variants. The core thing about the section is deduplication: the same video can be run by fifty different affiliates, and Spytrend collapses all of that into a single card by visual match, showing how many times the creative has been used.

Creatives: the unique variants of Facebook ad creatives

Creatives holds Facebook ad creatives themselves, or rather their unique variants, and this is where you do everything you come to a spy tool for: look for approaches that work, watch what competitors are doing, collect references for your designer.

The core thing about the section is deduplication. The same video can be run by fifty different affiliates across dozens of domains. In a regular feed you would drown in duplicates. Here Spytrend collapses all of it into a single card by visual match. You see one creative with the number "used 141 times" instead of 141 identical ads. And that number is gold, because it shows how much the creative is actually being scaled. You can look at cards like these in the demo.

Filters and, above all, the date range with "New in period"

The Creatives section in Spytrend: the filter panel, date range and the creative feed

The standard set: Category with subniches, geo, Video/Photo, Advertisers, Hubs, Domain zone, Webmaster, plus sorting (mine is set to By total ads). Set the combination up, save it, and you are back in it in one click.

Now for the feature that works smarter than an ordinary date filter, Date range. It shows which creatives were launched specifically within the reporting period you need. I have the "Previous 30 days · Jun 22 - Jul 21" preset selected. Because of that, a separate field appears on the card itself, New in period: how many times this creative was run within the selected dates.

How New in period differs from the usual frequency

Here is the point. The regular Ads field is the frequency across the entire lifetime of a creative. New in period answers a different question, how many of those runs happened within these 30 days. So you see what is being scaled inside the selected window, not what was popular at some point.

The difference can be enormous. Look at the top card (the first one on the screen), Ads 6669, of which New in period is 5196. Out of all 6669 runs, nearly 5.2 thousand fall exactly within the last 30 days. The creative is not merely popular, it blew up right now.

Narrow the window down, to 7 days for example, and you get an even cleaner cut of what is being scaled on those specific days, without the old visuals that burned out long ago.

What is on a creative card

Every card is a small dossier. Here it is on examples from the selection (Gambling filter, sorted by volume):

  • Geo with percentages, BR 100%, US 100%. You can see what country it is built for.
  • Category and subniche, Gambling and Betting → Online Casino Slots. Or State Restricted Operators.
  • FP, the fan pages spotted: Crebrultelo Frandpingram…, Timeless Diary, Crazy Reels.
  • Ads, how many ads in total have used the creative over its whole life.
  • New in period, how many of those were run within the selected period (that key field).
  • Active, how many are running now.
  • Advertisers, how many different fan pages have run it.
  • Domains, across how many domains.
  • Days, how many days it has been alive.
  • Dates, the activity window.

Facebook ads examples: three creatives from the feed

Left to right:

  • Ads 6669, New in period 5196, Active 6250, Advertisers 131, Days 26. The absolute champion, 131 different fan pages, over six thousand runs, almost all of them live. This is not a test, this is a mass rollout across the whole Brazilian market.
  • Ads 2583, New in period 2522, Active 2401, Advertisers 27, Domains 1. Note this: almost the entire volume (2522 out of 2583) was run within the period, and there is only one domain. A fresh bundle on the rise, everyone pushing to a single lander.
  • Ads 3405, New in period 2509, Active 3314, Advertisers 105, Domains 25. A wide rollout across 25 domains by a hundred advertisers.

The logic is simple: you look at the combination of New in period + Active + Advertisers, not at how pretty it is. A lot of new runs within the period, high active count and dozens of advertisers mean the creative is being scaled right now and a crowd has already gathered around it. That is what you break down first.

The detailed creative card

Click a creative and the Creative details panel opens with three tabs: Info, Ads (6669) and Similar.

Creative details in Spytrend, the Info tab: creative statistics and the fan page list
Creative details, the Ads tab: every ad carrying this creative
Creative details, the Similar tab: comparable creatives

On the left, the player with the creative itself and an Open original link. On the right, on the Info tab, all the statistics:

  • Total ads, 6669, and Active today, 6250, how many there are in total and how many are alive today;
  • Advertisers (fan pages), 131, and Domains, 8, both with an expandable list so you can drill into each one;
  • Max days active 26, the longest a single ad with this creative has lasted;
  • Type, Video;
  • Activity period, 6/15/2026 - 7/11/2026, the activity window;
  • Countries, BR, the geo;
  • Fanpages, the list of pages running the visual (Crebrultelo Frand…, Timeless Diary, Crazy Reels, Vibrant Scenes and +121 more). A hundred-plus fan pages on a single creative, that is your scale. Each one has an icon that opens the page itself.

The Ads (6669) tab expands every ad using this creative one by one, so from a single visual you immediately see its entire rollout. Similar pulls up comparable creatives to widen the reference pool.

What the section is for

Creatives answers the question of which visuals work. Visual-match deduplication collapses duplicates into one card with a usage count.

The main subtlety, though, is the Date range with the "New in period" field: it shows how many times a creative was run within the selected period, and that gives a clean cut of what is being scaled in these days rather than at some point in the past. The combination of New in period + Active + Advertisers instantly picks out a creative on the way up. And the detailed card hands over the full dossier: domains, a hundred-plus fan pages and every ad carrying that visual.
