Winning products: what stores are advertising hardest

See the products stores advertise hardest in any country or category.

Slice the market by

To find winning products, pick a country or a category and press Show products. You get the products stores put the most advertising behind, with the store, the price when available and how long each has been advertised. The order also weighs how many creatives carry a product and how often a creative was re-uploaded. A country list weighs how much of the product’s advertising runs in that country; a category list weighs how many countries it runs in.

One market in one list: the products its stores push hardest and have kept pushing longest.

[ What you get ]

The products a market is putting the most ads behind

You get the top of one market: the products its stores keep paying to advertise, in order. It replaces the slow way, scrolling a competitor’s ads one by one and guessing which of them the advertiser is serious about.

Each lookup ranks one country or one category, counted from ads first seen in the last 180 days, and shows its top ten products; the full list opens in Spytrend.

What comes out:

  • The product and its store. The product as the store names it, the store it belongs to, its picture, its price when the store provides one and a link to the product page.
  • Days advertised. The days from the product’s first ad launch to today, or to its last launch once all its ads have stopped. The order weighs more than days alone: creatives, re-uploads and where the ads run count too, so a product with fewer days can rank higher.

This ranks advertising effort, not sales. We see the ads a store runs, not what shoppers put in a basket, so a product can top this list and sell little. Still, few stores keep paying to promote a product that isn’t selling.

The counts stop a few days short of today, so the newest launches join the list a little later. The date the data runs through is printed above the list.

[ How to use it ]

How to find winning products to dropship: three steps

  1. Choose country or category

Country ranks one market. Category ranks one product type across markets, and the picker next to the switch changes with it.

  2. Press Show products

The page opens on a ready list. Pick the country or category you care about and press Show products; your first lookup is free, no sign-up.

  3. Open the product page

Each card shows the product, its store, its price when available and the days it has been advertised. Open the product page to see the offer: the photos, the description and the pitch.

Read the order and the days together rather than any single number: a top full of long runs is a market with settled winners, and a top full of fresh launches is still being decided.

[ Why marketers use it ]

Find what stores keep funding — persistence is the hardest signal to fake

A store can put anything in its window, but it rarely keeps paying to show a product that loses money. A launch is a bet; a run that keeps going, in several creatives and countries, is a store choosing to keep funding it. This list sorts a market by that choice.

A dropshipper opening a new country reads the top of that country’s list to pick what to test first. Most products there have already been through another store’s testing budget, and the days on each card show how long a store has kept paying for it.

A media buyer takes the store behind a top product and studies its creatives before launching their own: which hooks it kept running, in which formats, and for how long.

A ranking stops at product names and store domains. The ads themselves, every creative a store sends to its site with its run time and countries, are one search away in Spytrend.

The store behind a product, ad by ad

This page ranks one slice of one market.

Spytrend is an ad intelligence platform for Facebook and TikTok advertising: a full five-year archive of ads, AI-classified into 33 business categories, with every advertiser assembled into a single card — all ads, pages, domains and countries in one place. The store on each product card is the way in: its domain is where the search starts.

Two jobs a ranked list cannot do on its own

  • Building on the angle, not the product. What you can act on is the creative: the hook, the format and the wording that kept running while others were switched off. In Spytrend a store’s ads sort by how long each one lasted.
  • Watching a store decide. One lookup is a snapshot. What a store launches next shows where it is heading: sort its ads by date and the newest creatives come first, with the countries they run in.

What a product is attached to in Spytrend

  • Every ad sent to the store. Search the domain and get the ads that link to the store from every page that runs them, not only this product’s.
  • Run time and re-uploads per creative. Each ad carries its launch date and days running, and each creative shows how often it was uploaded again as a new ad.
  • Countries. Where each ad runs, which tells a push across markets from a trial in one.

From one product to a store’s whole advertising, in three steps

  • Search the store’s domain. Paste the domain from the product card into the Spytrend ads search.
  • Sort its ads by run time. The store’s longest-running creatives come first.
  • Find this product’s ads in that order. Near the top, the store is backing it hard. Further down, it is still a test, and the ads above it show what the store relies on.

Why the store, not one product

A product on this list is one line in a store’s plan. Its full advertising shows the rest: the older creatives behind it, the ones it switched off and the countries each one ran in.

How to start

Paste the domain of the top store in your list into the Spytrend ads search. Create a free account: it opens the ad library, and paid plans add fresh ads and every filter.

This list ranks what stores advertise, not what they sell. Products are ordered by how long each one has been advertised, how many creatives carry it and how often a creative was re-uploaded, counted in the ads we have collected. A country list weighs how much of the product’s advertising runs in that country; a category list weighs how many countries it runs in.
