To find out which countries a brand advertises in, paste its website domain and press Show countries. You get every country where its Facebook and Instagram ads have run, with the ad count and live ads in each, plus new ads by month. The Meta Ad Library does not count ads per country; this lookup does.
[ What it is ]
A lookup by website, not by brand name
It reads the landing domain, not the advertiser name. A brand runs ads through several pages, agency accounts and regional profiles, and all of them point at its site, so the domain holds together what a name search splits apart.
Subdomains count as the same brand: shop.brand.com is part of brand.com. Separate domains are separate lookups, so brand.de and brand.com are two.
One website in, one screen out: where the brand advertises, how hard, and whether it is still growing.
[ What you get ]
Every country a brand’s ads run in, with counts
You get every country the brand’s ads have run in, with the number of ads and how many are live in each.
What comes out:
- The country list. Every country, biggest first, with its ad count and its share of the brand’s total.
- Live ads per country. How many are running now, next to the total. A market with a hundred ads and none live is one the brand has left.
- New ads by month. How many new ads from the brand appeared in each recent month, so a brand that is scaling stands apart from one coasting on old creatives.
It covers Facebook and Instagram. Google, TikTok and native networks are not in the count, so a brand that looks quiet here may be advertising elsewhere.
[ How to use it ]
Ad countries lookup: three steps
Paste the domain
Type brand.com, or paste a full URL you copied from an ad; the www and the path come off on their own.
Press Show countries
The countries come back sorted by ad count, with the live ads beside each.
Read the trend
The month-by-month row shows whether the spread is growing or left over from an old push.
For a brand with several sites, look up each domain on its own.
[ Versus the Ad Library ]
Why not just use the Meta Ad Library
You can, and it is free. The Meta Ad Library is the official archive, it needs no account, and it is the right place to look at the ads themselves.
It does not count ads per country, though. You can search every country at once, but to learn that a brand runs ads in twenty-two countries you would filter one country at a time and count by hand.
It also searches by advertiser name rather than by the site the ads point at, so a brand running several pages comes back as several unrelated advertisers.
Same question, two tools
| What you want to know | Where it is easier |
|---|---|
| What does this specific ad look like | Meta Ad Library — it shows the creatives |
| Which countries is this brand advertising in | Here — one lookup, all countries |
| How many ads per country | Here — counted for you |
| Is this brand still active in that market | Here — the live count sits next to the total |
| Is the brand launching more ads than before | Here — the new ads by month |
| What exact audience the ad targeted | Neither, outside the EU — nobody publishes it |
[ What the numbers mean ]
Where the ads ran, not who they targeted
These are countries where the ads ran, not the targeting settings the advertiser chose in Ads Manager. Outside the EU nobody publishes those, the Meta Ad Library included, so read the list as “their ads run here”.
The numbers are recomputed on a schedule rather than live, so an ad launched very recently may not be in the count yet.
[ Limits ]
Free version limits
Your first lookup is free, no sign-up. Leave your email for one more, then create a free Spytrend account: it opens this search in the full ad library, and paid plans add fresh ads and every filter.
A domain we cannot read, or an error on our side, does not use up a lookup. Embedded copies follow the same limits as this page.
[ Why marketers use it ]
See where competitors keep paying — before you enter a market
A market a competitor keeps paying for is a market that works for them. One they tested and left is worth knowing too, and it is cheaper to learn from their spend than from yours.
Before you enter a country, the useful question is how hard competitors push there. Two hundred ads with three live says something different from forty ads with thirty-five running.
For a brand you already track, the month-by-month row is an early signal: a run of new ads usually means the budget moved.
A country count shows where a brand spends, not what it says there. In Spytrend the ads behind each count are one search away, with their launch dates and run time.

Every ad behind the country list, on one advertiser card
This lookup tells you where a brand advertises.
Spytrend is an ad intelligence platform for Facebook and TikTok advertising: a full five-year archive of ads, AI-classified into 33 business categories, with every advertiser assembled into a single card — all ads, pages, domains and countries in one place.
Who works this way
Media buyers choosing a market, brand teams watching a competitor expand, and agencies explaining a market before they pitch it.
What Spytrend shows you
- The ads themselves. The creatives behind every count, so three hundred ads in a country become three hundred messages you can read.
- How long each has run. Launch date and days running, so a creative paid for since spring stands apart from one launched last week.
- The advertiser behind the domain. Pages, domains and countries on one card, so a brand running several accounts reads as one operator.
- What the video ads say. On paid plans, any video ad in Spytrend can be transcribed in one click.
Why not do it one domain at a time
For a whole category, one domain at a time stops scaling: you first have to find every domain, and a country count does not say which message carries the spend.
How to start
Look up the domain here, then open Spytrend and search the same domain to read the ads behind the numbers. Create a free account: it opens the ad library, and paid plans add fresh ads and every filter.
